This has been a life saver! My newborn hates to be swaddled but also being on the basinet gets her startled and wouldn’t sleep. The only way I can get some rest is having her in our arms. After reading reviews, I figured was worth a shot and let me tell you, this is night and day!! It is so comfy for them. Keeps them in place and unable to turn to the side. It’s truly worth trying, you won’t regret it!
I didn't think much about this when I purchased it for the baby's crib. Turned out to be one of the better things we bought.
It's keeps the baby in position. The top and bottom pieces are adjustable, so when the baby grows it grows with the baby and it makes it super easy to wash.
I bought this for our second child, now 5 weeks old, as we're still trying to get our six year old to sleep in her own bed and we'd like to not head down that road again! I use it in the bassinet next to our bed on top of one of this incline pillows and put her in a Halo swaddle sleep sack... She actually sleeps!! I'll also use it in the crib for naps with a swaddle blanket. I would definitely recommend this to every parent, it's great!!
My then-2-month old was only sleeping 1-2 hours at a time and never settling into good sleep so I bought this out of desperation and exhaustion. I was willing to try ANYTHING. The first night, she slept five hours straight. That was a record but I was still skeptical so I waited on my review... It has now been almost 2 months since I purchased and she is sleeping 8+ hours every night (no exceptions). She likes to be held closely so I keep the head and foot pieces tighter to her body and she sleeps contentedly. The only drawback is that cleaning it is a pain. The sleeping pad portion washes just fine but it takes at least 4 dryer cycles to get it completely dried. The foam soaks up all the water and is hard to get completely dried. Honestly though, it is a small price to pay for consistent sleep.
Arrived timely, came with its own simple carry case. Doesn’t stink. Soft, and squishy. The Velcro is as I thought, but can be solved if you just drape a blanket over it. Can’t wait to use it! I’m due April 2020! I’ll post an update when our little one is born!
Update: our little boy sleeps in it perfect. He loves it. We use it on the couch mostly. So convenient!
